Englewood: A New Mixed-Use Community Coming to Chosewood Park
Chosewood Park is one of the hottest neighborhoods in Atlanta right now, with several residential and commercial projects underway. One of the most ambitious developments is Englewood, a 30-acre mixed-use community that will transform the former site of Englewood Manor, a public housing complex that was demolished in 2009.
The project will also be adjacent to the Chosewood Park greenspace and the Atlanta BeltLine’s Southside Trail corridor, offering easy access to recreation and transportation options.
The first phase of Englewood will consist of a 200-unit apartment building and a senior housing complex, both of which will offer affordable housing options for low- and moderate-income households. The apartment building will also include a swimming pool, fitness center, business center, and clubhouse. The first phase is expected to break ground this year and deliver in 2026.
Englewood is one of the largest planned developments by Atlanta Housing, and it aims to create a vibrant and inclusive community that will benefit the residents and the surrounding area. Englewood will also contribute to the revitalization of Chosewood Park, which is already seeing a surge of investment and activity. Englewood is poised to become a new destination and a model for mixed-use development in Atlanta.
