Halidom Eatery: A New Food Hall Coming to Southeast Atlanta
Food halls are all the rage in Atlanta, and a new one is set to open next spring in the Woodland Hills neighborhood near the Southside Beltline trail. Halidom Eatery, which means “sanctuary” in Old English, will offer 11 restaurant stalls from local food purveyors and chefs, a bar, and a two-acre green space for events and live entertainment.
The food hall will feature a variety of cuisines and dishes, such as stone hearth pizza, smoked meats, and coffee. It will also provide concierge service, takeout ordering station, and possibly an open-container policy spanning the property. Halidom Eatery is part of a larger complex that includes apartments and retail spaces on Moreland Avenue.
Halidom Eatery joins the growing list of food halls in Atlanta and its suburbs, such as Krog Street Market, Ponce City Market, Switchman Hall, Politan Row, South End, and Chamblee Tap and Market. Even the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is getting a food hall called Citizens Go, which is expected to open by early 2025.
Halidom Eatery promises to be a destination for food lovers and a sanctuary for the community. It is scheduled to open in Spring 2024 at 1341 Moreland Avenue, Atlanta.
