New Bar and Food Hall Coming to Peoplestown Neighborhood in Atlanta
The food hall, called Switchman Hall, will have 18 stalls offering a variety of cuisines, from ramen and hot dogs to soul food and vegan dishes. Some of the stalls are owned by local celebrities, such as Oprah’s favorite chef Art Smith, who will open Southern Grace. Another stall, Smooth n Groove, will serve smoothies, juices, and sandwiches named after popular dances.
The wine bar, called VinATL, will offer wine tastings and bottles from around the world. The mimosa bar, called Pur Zen Mimosa Wine Bar, will serve charcuterie boards, fried shrimp, oxtails, and peach cobbler French toast, along with mimosas and cocktails. Pur Zen will also have a patio facing Hank Aaron Drive.
Terminal South is expected to open in early 2024 and will be the final stop on MARTA’s planned bus rapid transit route. The development aims to promote walkability and public transit in the area and to attract more visitors and residents. Terminal South will join other MARTA-accessible complexes in the city, such as Uptown Atlanta and Bona Fide Deluxe.
