Two-Tower Project Rising Near Piedmont Park Marks One Year of Construction
The 1081 Juniper Street project, led by Middle Street Partners and AECOM-Canyon Partners, is a two-tower complex that will offer 487 apartments, ground-floor retail, and stunning views of the city and the park.
The two towers will have different heights and designs, but both will feature modern amenities and spacious floorplans. The North tower will be 36 stories tall, with 320 units, while the South tower will be 33 stories tall, with 167 units. The project will also include 690 parking spaces and a large podium that will span the block along Juniper Street.
The developers expect to complete the project by fall 2024, and they claim that it will be “the preeminent residential address in all of Atlanta”. The project will also contribute to the transformation of the northeast portion of Midtown’s skyline, as well as the vibrancy and walkability of the area.
The 1081 Juniper Street project is one of the many high-rise developments that are reshaping Midtown Atlanta, as the demand for urban living continues to grow. The project is also a testament to the resilience and attractiveness of the city’s real estate market, despite the challenges posed by the pandemic and the economic downturn.
