Bovino After Dark is a secret supper club that offers a unique dining experience inside the bar at Hop City in West End. This is not your typical restaurant, but a culinary adventure that will surprise and delight your taste buds.

The menu is omakase, which means you leave the choice to the chef, and trust me, you won’t regret it. You can also opt for wine and caviar pairings, which will elevate your experience to a whole new level.

The atmosphere is cozy and intimate. You’ll feel like you’re at a dinner party with friends, even if you don’t know anyone else at the bar. The food is amazing, with dishes like Funyun funnel cake over watermelon granita and Manchester quail stuffed with farro verde garnished with crispy pecans. The desserts are equally inventive, such as tres leches and persimmon bread pudding topped with trifoliate ice cream drizzled with candy roaster caramel.

Bovino After Dark is only open for dinner on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, and the seats are limited to 10 or 12 people. The reservations are hard to come by, but you can try your luck by following their Instagram feed, where they sometimes announce last-minute openings due to cancellations. The price is $65 per person, plus extra for wine and caviar, but it’s worth every penny.
