Georgia’s First Waterslide Coaster Coming to Margaritaville at Lanier Islands

The park announced today that it will add a new tower of four slides, including Georgia’s first waterslide coaster, called Apocalypso. This slide will feature twists, turns, drops, and launches that will make you feel like you are riding a roller coaster on water. The slide will be 418 feet long and reach speeds of up to 30 mph.

The new slides are expected to open in 2024, but you can get a sneak peek and a special deal on season passes this Labor Day weekend. The park is offering winter 2023 and summer 2024 season passes for $99.99 per person, as well as other discounts and promotions. You can also enjoy the park’s current attractions, such as the beach, the wave pool, the lazy river, and more.
