Grana: A New Destination for Italian Cuisine in Dunwoody
Where: 1210 Ashford Crossing, Dunwoody
If you are looking for a place to enjoy authentic Italian food and wood-fired pizzas, you might want to check out Grana, the latest venture from Atlanta chef Pat Pascarella. Grana is now open at the Ashford Lane development in Dunwoody, offering a menu of handmade pastas, meatballs, entrees, and desserts. The restaurant also has a sunny patio, a takeout window for frozen drinks, and a private events space.
Some of the highlights of the menu include the meatball tasting, which lets you sample different types of meatballs with various sauces, and the build-your-own cannoli, which lets you choose your own filling and toppings. You can also order wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas, such as the classic margherita or the spicy diavola, or try some of the entrees, such as the roasted chicken or the whole branzino. To pair with your food, you can choose from a selection of classic cocktails, Italian wines, and beer from the bar.
Grana is not the only restaurant that Pascarella has opened in Atlanta. The chef also owns the White Bull in Decatur, Bastone in West Midtown, and Alici in Midtown. He plans to open a third location of Grana in Roswell at the Southern Post development by the end of the 2023, which will be the largest one yet.
Grana joins other restaurants and shops that are already open at Ashford Lane, such as Hawkers Asian Street Food, Paris Baguette, Hobnob, Sweetgreen, Brown Bag Seafood, Superica, Nawabi Hyderabad House, and Jeni’s Ice Creams. Omakase by Yun and Culinary Dropout are expected to open soon.
Grana is open for lunch and dinner daily, and brunch on weekends. You can make a reservation online or call the restaurant at 678-515-6727. You can also follow Grana on Instagram and Facebook for updates and specials.
