If you’re looking for a place to enjoy grilled Japanese skewers and creative cocktails, you might want to check out Yakitori Kona, the latest venture from MF Sushi’s Alex Kinjo.
The restaurant, which opened last week in Virginia-Highland, features a charcoal grill imported from Japan, a variety of yakitori dishes with different sauces, and a late-night food menu. The cocktail bar, run by James Wampler, offers twists on classic drinks with Japanese ingredients. Yakitori Kona is currently open for dinner, with lunch coming soon.
