Skol Brewing Company and Valhalla Social to Open in Historic 200 Peachtree Building

If you are looking for a new place to enjoy craft beer, games, and Nordic-inspired cuisine in downtown Atlanta, you might want to check out the historic 200 Peachtree building. The building, which was once the flagship department store for Davison’s and later Macy’s, is undergoing a major transformation and will soon welcome two new tenants: Skol Brewing Company and Valhalla Social.

Skol Brewing Company is a craft brewery that will occupy 20,000 square feet of space on the ground floor and basement of the building. It will feature a taproom, a beer garden, and a rooftop deck. Skol Brewing Company plans to open in 2024.

Skol Brewing Company will offer eight carefully crafted beers and a Nordic-inspired menu curated by Certified Master Chef Rich Rosendale. The brewery’s name comes from the Scandinavian word for “cheers”, which reflects its Viking theme and spirit. Skol Brewing Company aims to create the finest craft ales to satiate the Viking in all of us.

Valhalla Social is a gaming venue that will take over 40,000 square feet of space on the second floor of the building. It will offer various games, such as bowling, arcade, virtual reality, and esports. Valhalla Social expects to open in 2025.

Valhalla Social will provide a fun and social atmosphere for gamers of all ages and skill levels. The venue’s name comes from the Norse mythology’s hall of slain warriors, where they live blissfully under the leadership of Odin. Valhalla Social hopes to create a place where gamers can gather, compete, and celebrate.

The 200 Peachtree building is set to become a new destination for entertainment, dining, and shopping in downtown Atlanta. Skol Brewing Company and Valhalla Social are two of the major tenants that have signed leases at the building. They will join other existing tenants, such as Sweet Georgia’s Juke Joint, Meehan’s Public House, and White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails.
