The Southside Trail, a key component of the Atlanta BeltLine, is undergoing a transformation with the construction of a new pedestrian bridge over Grant Park. This bridge, supported by towering piers, stands as high as the historic Ormewood Avenue railroad bridge, an iconic structure recognized as a landmark site in 2021.
