Timber-Built Tower Proposal Advances in Buckhead Village

A proposed timber-built tower in Buckhead Village, Atlanta, is gaining approval and moving closer to construction.

The project includes 314 multifamily units, street-level retail space, and sustainable features such as mass timber construction, composting areas, and low-flow toilets. The committee recommended the inclusion of art murals and addressed concerns about traffic.

The tower will be 225 feet tall and feature four townhomes and a coffee shop with greenspace. The development aims to revitalize the area and join other tall projects by out-of-town developers in the vicinity.
