Reviving the West End: Lee + White’s Bold New Chapter in Atlanta

Atlanta’s West End is buzzing again—and it’s not just the Beltline foot traffic. The Lee + White district, a once-industrial stretch of warehouses, has transformed into a vibrant hub of innovation, entertainment, and community spirit. With a fresh wave of openings, this adaptive-reuse marvel is redefining what mixed-use development can look like in the heart of the city.
From Warehouses to Wonderlands
Lee + White spans 11 buildings with half a mile of Beltline frontage, and its evolution has been nothing short of remarkable. Developers Ackerman & Co. and MDH Partners have curated a dynamic mix of tenants—from high-tech startups to experiential venues—making it a magnet for locals and visitors alike.
Game On: The Game Show Challenge
One of the most exciting additions is The Game Show Challenge, a live, interactive experience that lets groups of 6 to 14 people play trivia, word puzzles, and spin-the-wheel games in a studio setting. Think “Jeopardy” meets “Wheel of Fortune,” but with your friends as contestants. It’s the fourth location for the concept, with plans to expand to 30 more cities.
Tee Time Meets Chill Time
Atlanta Golf & Social brings a laid-back vibe to indoor golf. With Trackman simulators, a full restaurant, and watch party zones for MLS and F1 fans, it’s more than just a golf club—it’s a social experience. This marks their second location, and the only locally owned indoor golf brand with multiple sites in Atlanta.
Retail Reinvented: The Container Village
The district’s container village is growing, now with nine units aimed at helping small businesses thrive affordably.
Pickleball Powerhouse
Just north of Lee + White, Dill Dinkers has taken over 36,000 square feet for its pickleball concept, adding even more energy to the area’s sports and recreation scene.
Parking Policy Shift
Starting September 1, Lee + White will introduce paid parking—free for the first two hours, then $5 for up to five hours, and $10 for up to 12. It’s a bold move in a car-centric city, but one that reflects the district’s growing popularity and need for sustainable traffic management.
Lee + White isn’t just a redevelopment—it’s a reinvention. With its eclectic mix of tenants and community-first approach, it’s setting a new standard for adaptive reuse in Atlanta. Whether you're there to play, shop, eat, or just hang out, the West End’s renaissance is well underway.
